Full Terms & Conditions

  • Definitions: “We/Us/Our” means Sharland Gas Ltd and its Gas Safe registered engineers or approved contractors. “You/Your” means the named plan holder. “Plan” means the selected Bronze, Silver, or Gold Home Care Plan.
  • Eligibility: Plans apply to one domestic property only and are non-transferable. Service Area is Newport and Cardiff postcode areas only.
  • Fuel types: Natural gas and LPG systems are covered. Oil, electric, solid fuel, and non-gas systems are excluded.
  • Plan nature: Plans provide preventative maintenance and servicing. Plans are not insurance products and do not guarantee the ongoing condition or efficiency of the boiler.
  • What is included: Annual boiler service and safety checks (all plans). Priority response applies to Silver and Gold. Gold includes labour for covered repairs (subject to fair use).
  • What is not included: Parts are chargeable unless stated otherwise. System upgrades, radiators, pipework, valves, pumps, controls, power flushing, chemical treatments, and pre-existing faults are excluded.
  • Call-out fees: Bronze and Silver call-outs are chargeable. Standard call-out from £65 + VAT. Emergency call-out from £100 + VAT. Gold has no call-out fee for covered issues.
  • Access and appointments: You must provide safe and reasonable access to the boiler and controls. Missed appointments or lack of access may delay service delivery.
  • Safety: If safety issues are identified, we may isolate the appliance in line with Gas Industry Unsafe Situation Procedures until defects are rectified.
  • Payments and duration: Plans are paid monthly or annually via the agreed payment method and run for 12 months from the start date unless cancelled earlier.
  • Cooling-off: You may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund provided no service has been delivered.
  • Cancellation after cooling-off: You may cancel at any time. If a service has already been delivered, no refund is due. If no service has been delivered, unused payments may be refunded.
  • Liability: We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Advice provided does not constitute a warranty.
  • Governing law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
